Why build a custom home? For most of our clients it's because the home they've been searching for their entire lives doesn't exist on the market.
That’s where the “Concept to Construction” phase of our program comes in. This in-depth series of consultations was designed with two goals in mind. To help you understand the steps and costs involved in realizing your unique vision – and – to help us gather the detailed information we'll need to faithfully translate your vision into your home.
Plan together
As with any custom project, there are a lot of decisions to make when building a custom home. You can expect to make decisions on big things, like where you will build your house, and small things, like the type of drawer pulls on your bathroom vanity. Whatever the size of the decision, you can count on Ocean Home to provide insight.
Every custom home is unique, and the planning process may look different from project to project. At Ocean Home, we strive to use our years experience to answer your questions before you ask them.
Build Together
Once the dreaming and planning are covered, we are ready to build. Construction is when the real magic happens. Every day on site will bring you closer to walking through the door of your dream home.
Should you choose to build with Ocean Home, we'll encourage you to visit your home regularly during construction. Prior to move-in, we'll tour your new home together to make certain we have delivered the quality you expect from us.
Throughout construction, Milestone Meetings will be scheduled at framing, mechanical, electrical, finishing, cabinetry and shelving milestones. This provides us with many opportunities to discuss your personal preferences and the specific design details of your home.
