At Ocean Homes, we believe that new isn’t necessarily always better. Especially, when it comes to a house with “good bones.” If the location is right, and the house in question was built to last.

As a home builder, and renovations expert, we love finding family homes with a great skeleton in desirable neighborhoods that we can makeover and transform to a beautiful family home with modern elements. It’s brings us joy, to see your family bring new life to one of our artfully renovated family homes.

As a potential homebuyer, buying a fully renovated house has huge benefits, including a lower cost per square foot, a larger floorplan (thanks to many of the older neighborhoods having wider lots, minimal landscaping work, and a quicker possession date.

Edgemont, in Calgary’s North West quadrant is a neighborhood we’ve had our eye on for a while, and we are thrilled to be moving in. The NW community of Edgemont is highly sought-after family focused neighborhood that was originally established in 1978. At Ocean Homes we’re big fans of the Edgemont for its big lots, functional floor plans, and community centric lifestyle. As a neighborhood, Edgemont was designed to be a community where families could thrive.

Located just north of John Lourie Blvd, the community of Edgemont, is central to Calgary’s NW. The neighborhood is minutes away (by foot) from Nose Hill Park, Dalhousie Station, The University of Calgary, Crowfoot Station, and so much more!

If you, like us, have been eying the NW for some time, check out our newly renovated Edforth Crescent home which features over 2000 sqft of above ground living space.
